Over the course of more than 70 years, the artist produced a number of writings including poetry, reflections on art, and correspondence with collectors, art critics, painter friends and writers including J.K. Huysmans, L\u00e9on Bloy, Andr\u00e9 Suar\u00e8s, Jacques Maritain and Marcel Arland.
